I Spy is a charismatic colt with big uphill movement and a fabulous temperament.  He is by Metall out of our KWPN Prok mare Reggae.
Metall is an impressively built stallion who competed successfully up to Prix St. Georges himself but is perhaps better known for his remarkable progeny as he produced several Grand Prix horses and licensed sons. His son Uthopia ridden by Carl Hester won team gold at the European Championships in Rotterdam and team gold as well as silver in both the Grand Prix Freestyle and the Special at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.  Métall also produced the licensed stallions Special D, Maserati, Memphis, Modjo and Ufo.

Metalls sire Ferro achieved the team silver medal as member of the Dutch team at the Olympic Games in 2000, placed sixth at the World Championships in Rome and second in the World Cup final in 1999. Ferro is 4th in the dressage world ranking of the WBFSH. His licensed son Rousseau (sire of Faside Rousseaus Magic Trick) was himself Vice World Champion for young dressage horses and managed to sire the KWPN Champion Stallion 3 times in a row. Metall’s dam’s sire Ramiro belongs to the most famous sires in the world and produced numerous international championship horses like Olympic gold medalist Ratina Z.

Reggae is by the Dutch stallion Olympic Vincent, out of a Farrington mare. These are good, modern dressage bloodlines. Reggae is producing very correct, elegant and big moving foals, one of which was awarded 'ster' by the KWPN and went through to the second round of stallion inspections in Holland. She was professionally backed AT Laurs Fry’s and proved very trainable with sound attitude, good jumping technique and excellent movement under saddle. She was graded with the KWPN where she achieved 66 for conformation and 72 for movement and was awarded 'prok'. She is registered KWPN, Sports Horse Breeders GB, Scottish Sports Horse and British Warmblood Society.

Reggae's sire, Vincent led the KWPN dressage index for many years. Her dam sire, Farrington, was awarded the title “Keur” and his pedigree is full of exceptional horses including the Stallion of the Century Nimmerdor. Reggaes great grand sire is the preferent stallion Amor who has a statue errected in his honour.
