The sire of this filly is the relatively young stallion Bordeaux who is said to be well on his way to becoming a new line founder for international dressage.  The dam is a daughter of the Premium stallion San Amour who is a son of the legendary Sandro Hit.  Her damline goes back to Rohdiamant, considered the best son of the great Rubinstein.

From the start, offspring of Bordeaux have dominated Championships and auctions in 2013. At the Oldenburg Championships in Rastede, Biscaya / Andreas Müller, Bluetooth / Eva Möller and Bella Laguna / Klarissa Alexandra Liss were placed first, second and third. Not long after, Biscaya became Vice Bundeschampion in Warendorf and was sold for a record price at the Oldenburg autumn auction (€300.000). After winning at the KWPN licensing in 2009, Bordeaux won the stallion performance test in Ermelo. In 2012, he was placed fourth with Eva Möller in the final of the World Championships for six-year old dressage horses in Verden. In 2013 he impressively won the Dutch Stallion Competition in Den Bosch.

Bordeaux is a genetic rarity from one of the most successful dam lines worldwide. The sire United finished his performance test in Ermelo with the highest ever results: 9.5 for trot, canter and dressage ability. Krack C and Partout, two internationally successful Grand Prix horses with Anky van Grunsven, are amongst his ancestors. Bordeaux' dam sire Gribaldi was himself internationally successful at Grand Prix level with Edward Gal and produced a string of Grand Prix horses such as Girasol, Sisther de Jeu, Peter Pan, Painted Black and several others. Dressage hero Donnerhall in the third generation impressively underpins the genetic talents for dressage. The grand dam of Bordeaux, Leandra M, has also competed successfully up to Prix St. George level with Hans Peter Minderhoud. Bordeaux originates directly from the Westphalian dam line of Dodana (Family de Baey, Lemgo) which has produced the Olympic winners Ahlerich/Dr. Reiner Klimke and Rembrandt/Nicole Uphoff as well as the trademark stallion Rubinstein I and the Olympic silver medalist Amon/Annemarie Sanders Keyzer.

The damsire is premium stallion San Amour who was bought at auction for EUR 450,000 after being the most coveted stallion at his licensing. He is elegant and light with fantastic uphill paces. At his performance test San Amour had the highest dressage index (137.74) and was particularly praised for his rideability (9.5). As a 5 year old San Amour qualified for the Bundeschampionat under Ulf Möller. His first crop of foals were very sought after, with one being bought for EUR 70,000 at the Münster-Handorf Auction.

San Amours dam, elite Puppenfee was herself Oldenburg reserve mare champion. She is the full sister to the approved stallion Pierrot Royal. She also produced Auguste Victoria, the 2008 Oldenburg Regional Champion. San Amour’s grand sire Plaisir d'Amour has competed successfully in international Grand Prix classes and at the World Championship in 1998.

The great dam sire is Rosenburg who won the British Warmblood Society stallion grading and is a son of Rohdiamant who is considered the best son of the great Rubinstein.
