Fürstenball won the 2009 performance test and became champion stallion at the Oldenburger licensing in 2008, having sold for the record price of €110,000 as a foal at auction. He was national champion of Germany, winner of S level dressage classes, 2013 VTV stallion of the year, and number 1 of the FN breeding valuation throughout Germany in 2015. In 2016, Furstenball sired the champion and reserve champion stallion of the Oldenburg licensing, and he already has over 40 licensed sons, including Farrell, Follow Me, Finest, Fursten-Look, For Cruise, and Furst Fabrice.

Firstenball's sire Fürst Heinrich was the winner of the World Championship of Five Year Old Dressage Horses in 2003 and is high up on the FN breeding index with a score of 151. Furst Heinrich is the sire of Woodlander Farouche, who was double World Young Horse Champion and is unbeaten at international small tour. Furstenball's dam Maradonna has produced four licensed sons. Furstenball's damsire Donnerhall is one of the best dressage sires of all time.

The damsire is San Amour, renowned for his rideabilty and spectacular movement. San Amour was the dressage champion of his performance test and became a Premium stallion in Vechta and auction price highlight. He was placed in the Bundeschampionat final and was awarded the Hauptpramie for his outstanding first crop of foals. In the Brilliant Ring at the 2011 Oldenburg licensing, 4 of the top 6 mares were by San Amour. His oldest offsping are now competing at small tour level, among them the three licensed stallions Sinclair Jason, Sandbrink, and Solo Feliz. San Amour has sired more than 30 licensed sons, including the very Santo Domingo.

San Amour is a son of Sandro Hit who was Bundeschampion, World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses and trained up to grand prix. Sandro Hit produced many auction highlights, more than 180 licensed stallions and more than 50 grand prix horses. The Rio 2016 Olympics were especially impressive for Sandro Hit - Showtime FRH was part of the German gold-medal-winning team in dressage, and Santano II was team bronze medallist with Christopher Burton (Australia) in eventing. Showtime finished 6th individually. Sandro Hit has produced twelve Bundeschampions.

San Amour's dam Puppenfee was reserve champion mare and was granted elite status. She is a full sister to the approved stallion Pierrot Royal. Her sire Plaisir d'Amour won many grands prixs.

In the next generation Rosewould's sire is BWBS Champion Stallion Rosenburg. He is by Rohdiamant (Rubinstein) who was the champion dressage horse of his generation with a dressage index of 150. The mare line Kalinka is very famous; she has produced a top priced auction horse in Germany, with many Champion mares in her family, she is by Ramino (Ramiro) who was Champion stallion at his performance test and went on to compete Internationally in Show Jumping.

Rosewould is out of a part bred Hanoverian mare Obia, who is by the International Grade 'A' Hanoverian stallion Odysseus.
