This colt's sire Sandro Hit is a sire who has changed the face of dressage breeding, producing countless licensed stallions and Grand Prix horses. The damline features Rousseau, one of the best KWPN stallions who sired 3 consecutive Stallion Licensing Champions. Rousseau is a son of the legendary stallion Ferro. This foal is sired by the incredible Sandro Hit who was Bundeschampion, World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses and trained up to grand prix. Sandro Hit produced many auction highlights, more than 180 licensed stallions and more than 50 grand prix horses. The Rio 2016 Olympics were especially impressive for Sandro Hit - Showtime FRH was part of the German gold-medal-winning team in dressage, and Santano II was team bronze medallist with Christopher Burton (Australia) in eventing. Showtime finished 6th individually. Sandro Hit has produced twelve Bundeschampions.
The dam Zoi is by the Ferro son Rousseau who got a Silver medal at the FEI World Championships for Young Horses. From Rousseau's first four foal crops in the Netherlands, he sired three consecutive Champions of the KWPN Stallion Licensing: Wamberto (2006), Zagreb (aka Blue Hors Zack) (2007), and Ajong (aka Ampere) (2008). Zoi’s dam Eyonara (Keur) is by the influential Thoroughbred stallion Saros (Keur) who is the grandsire of Barrosso.
Rousseau was 4 yr old Dutch National Champion and 5 yr old Reserve Dutch National Champion. At the 2003 FEI World Championships for Young Horses he got a Silver medal. From Rousseau's first four foal crops in the Netherlands, he sired three consecutive Champions of the KWPN Stallion Licensing: Wamberto (2006), Zagreb (aka Blue Hors Zack) (2007), and Ajong (aka Ampere) (2008). From his first foal crops in Germany, Rousseau has four licensed sons including Fiorano who was Champion 2008 70 day test, Fuerst Rousseau now standing at Celle and Rousseau Noir. Three of Rousseau's sons won their stallion performance tests with record-breaking results - Wamberto, Fiorano, and Ampere! Rousseau produced National Champion mares in the Netherlands and top foals around the world.
Rousseau's dam Zsuzsa "Ster-sport" was successful at Grand Prix dressage under an amateur rider. Zsuzsa is by the Preferant stallion Roemer who earned a perfect '10' for temperament in his stallion performance test and became a Champion Grand Prix dressage stallion.
Rousseau's sire is Olympic Ferro, who captured the Team Silver at the 1998 World Equestrian Games, 1999 European Championships and the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney. Ferro sired many licensed sons including Kennedy, Metall, Negro, Rousseau, Pyriet, Paddox, Osmium, Jazz Dancer, Lorenzo and Ferrolan. Ferro held the No. 1 position of the BN World Stallion Rankings and maintained an outstanding dressage index of 153 with the KWPN and was awarded the Preferant predicate.
