Absolutely stunning and full of presence, this lovely colt is by Furst Zonik out of homebred Bordeaux mare. His sire, Furst Zonik, is a son of the legendary stallion Furstenball and descends from a damline which has produced multiple world champions. Furst Zonik's sire Furstenball was Champion of the Oldenburg licensing, Champion of his stallion performance test, main premium winner, German Federal and Oldenburg Regional Champion, finalist at the World Championships, victorious up to Prix St . Georges level, VTV dressage stallion, number one of FN breeding valuation, Danish Elite Stallion and 'Stallion of the Year' in Denmark. Furthermore, Furstenball received the OLD designation, which is awarded by the Oldenburg Verband to the best Oldenburg bred horses.

Furst Zonik's dam dam Zantana was placed in young dressage horse competitions and was sold through the the P. S. I. 2019 auction in Ankum for EURO955.000. The dam sire Glock's Zonik N. O. P., who unites the most influential stallions of the Danish breeding with Zack, Romanov and Don Schufro, won team silver with Edward Gal/NED at the European Championships in Rotterdam/NED and took eighth and sixth places in the Special and Freestyle. With Zucchero Gold, he sired the current World Champion of young dressage horses and last year‘s German Champion and, with Zum Glück RS2 OLD, the newly crowned German Champion.

His grand-dam Sondra produced Glock's Total U.S. (by Totilas)/Edward Gal/NED, licensed stallion and Pavo Cup winner, and Zaid, victorious in intermediate (M) level dressage competitions. The dam sire Sir Donnerhall I has already earned the status of „trademark stallion“. Bred to Sandro Hit, his great-grand-dam Contana produced the licensed stallion Swagman, who was victorious in Grand Prix with Kristy Oatley/AUS.

The dam, Faside Brittany, is sired by Bordeaux descends from one of the most successful mare lines in the world. He won the KWPN licensing in 2009 then won the stallion performance test in Ermelo. In 2012, he came 4th in the World Championships for 6 year old dressage horses in Verden with Eva Moller. He is currently Holland's most successful dressage stallion of his age-group. He has so far produced a total of 16 licensed sons including Ferdeaux.

Bordeaux's sire, United, finished his performance test in Ermelo with the highest results ever recorded at the time. United's sire Krack C and damsire Partout were both international grand prix horses under Anky van Grunsven. Bordeaux's damline features Gribaldi, the sire of former World Champion and world record holder Totilas, and Donnerhall, one of the most successful sires of grand prix dressage horses ever. Bordeaux descends from the Westphalian foundation lineage of Dodona, which produced the Olympic champions Ahlerich and Rembrandt, as well as the foundation stallion Rubinstein I and Olympic silver medallist Amon.

The great-damsire is San Amour, renowned for his rideabilty and spectacular movement. San Amour was the dressage champion of his performance test and became a Premium stallion in Vechta and auction price highlight. He was placed in the Bundeschampionat final and was awarded the Hauptprämie for his outstanding first crop of foals. In the Brilliant Ring at the 2011 Oldenburg licensing, 4 of the top 6 mares were by San Amour. His oldest offsping are now competing at small tour level, among them the three licensed stallions Sinclair Jason, Sandbrink, and Solo Feliz. San Amour has sired more than 30 licensed sons, including the very Santo Domingo.

San Amour is a son of Sandro Hit who was Bundeschampion, World Champion of six-year-old dressage horses and trained up to grand prix. Sandro Hit produced many auction highlights, more than 180 licensed stallions and more than 50 grand prix horses. The Rio 2016 Olympics were especially impressive for Sandro Hit - Showtime FRH was part of the German gold-medal-winning team in dressage, and Santano II was team bronze medallist with Christopher Burton (Australia) in eventing. Showtime finished 6th individually. Sandro Hit has produced twelve Bundeschampions. San Amour's dam Puppenfee was reserve champion mare and was granted elite status. She is a full sister to the approved stallion Pierrot Royal. Her sire Plaisir d'Amour won many grands prixs.

In the next generation Rosewould's sire is BWBS Champion Stallion Rosenburg. He is by Rohdiamant (Rubinstein) who was the champion dressage horse of his generation with a dressage index of 150. The mare line Kalinka is very famous; she has produced a top priced auction horse in Germany, with many Champion mares in her family, she is by Ramino (Ramiro) who was Champion stallion at his performance test and went on to compete Internationally in Show Jumping. Rosewould is out of a part bred Hanoverian mare Obia, who is by the International Grade 'A' Hanoverian stallion Odysseus. He won the Puissance at his Stallion grading in Denmark at 6'6" and was reserve Champion the following year. Obia is the dam of Furst in Line and Furst Insperation by the Griffins stallion Furst Way and also produced Furst Impression by Furst Heinrich. Furst Impression is now with Jamie Broom of Lakeside Equestrian and won at the Winter Regionals at Novice Level and then qualified for the Nationals, coming 4th. In 2017 he competed successfully at PSG.
