Gorgeous filly by the World Champion of 5 year old and seven year old dressage horses, Jovian. Out of our homebred Rubin Star mare, Black Magic, who is out of a Donnerhall mare.

Jovian needs no introduction – he was the winner of the Dutch Championships for 3-year-olds 2017, then he became World Champion of the 5-year-old horses and two years later was again proclaimed World Champion of the seven-year-old horses. At the 5 year old World Championship Jovian was awarded 10 for 4 of the 5 criteria.

Jovian's dam Zinith (KWPN Elite) is the half-sister of the "ster" mare Upshot (by Olivi), who produced the licensed stallion Astrix (by Obelisk), who won the World Championships for young dressage horses in 2010 and 2011 with Emmelie Scholtens/NED and has had further successes at high level.

Jovian's sire is Apache, who was the reserve champion from the KWPN licensing in s'Hertogenbosch and winner of the stallion competition in winter 2011/2012. Under Emelie Scholtens, Apache is now consistently successful at Grand Prix level and was qualified for the Dutch Olympic squad in 2015.

The dam is by the Rubinstein son Rubin Star N, one of the best dressage stallions to ever stand in the UK. The granddam is by the successful Donnerhall x Pik Bube cross. She is a full sister to Don Primaire. We are expecting a great future for this foal.

Rubin Star N won his 100 day performance test with 10s for temperament and willingness to learn. Rubin Star N was highly placed in the Bundeschampionat final and was a successful Grand Prix horse. He also scores highly in his heritability assessment for dressage. His sire is Rubinstein who was one of the most influential sires of modern dressage horses. Rubin Star N's dam, State Premium Carella, was by Ramino, who also won his performance test. His full brother Magic Ronaldo is very highly placed on the Dutch dressage index and was Oldenburg Stallion Approval Vice Champion.

Donnatella is by the world-famous dressage stallion Donnerhall, out of a State Premium mare from a very proven top German dam line by Pik Bube. The combination of Donnerhall x Pik Bube has proven extremely successful world wide. Donnatella was bred by the stud which had Donnerhall, the "Groenwohldhof stud" in Germany and is out of one of their foundation mares, Lafayette, who is the dam of many top comptetion horses. Donnatella is the full sister to the top stallion Don Primaire. She is 16.3hh and very scopey with huge powerful paces. She was brought to Britain as a foal after being awarded a 'Foal Premium' and competed in affiliated dressage up to Elementary level.

Donnerhall himself had a stellar career as a dressage horse, winning some of the most prestigious competitions, including over 65 FEI Grand Prix Dressage classes. He won the team gold and individual bronze at the Dressage World Championship in 1994 and at the European Dressage Championship in 1997 in Verden. In 1997, he also won the World Cup European League. Donnerhall earned his third team gold while finishing 4th individually at the 1998 Dressage World Championship. He was named Oldenburg Stallion of the Year in 1998. He sired over 77 licensed sons and hundreds of state premium daughters, including Don Primero, Don Schufro, Don Frederico, Donnerschlag, Donnerbube, Donnerschwee, Dubai, Primavera, Deutsche Einheit, De Niro, Donatello and Davignon.

Donnatella's dam, Lafayette, was a State Premium mare who also produced the stallion Don Primaire. The dam's line goes directly back via the Trakehner stallions Magister and Lateran to the world-famous Ramzes daughter Ramona. Under Alwin Schockemohle, Ramona had a series of victories at the highest level of international showjumping. Within four seasons- from 1959 to 1962- Ramona had accumulated enormous winnings for her time, amounting to more than DM 40,000.

Donnatella's full brother, Don Primaire, successfully performed in the light Tour, thereby confirming his performance test in which his balanced character, pureness of gaits and riding-horse qualities stood out. His offspring are successful selection and sport horses. Donnatella also has a Verband Premium full sister at Crosiadore Farm who is being successfully bred from in America by embryo transfer and who has produced a State Premium daughter.
