Faside's Champagne Supernova

This mare, born on the 6th June 2007, has the makings of a superstar, with the famous stallions Sandro Hit, Flemmingh, Ahorn, Florestan and Wolfgang in her pedigree! Champagne Supernova is registered with the KWPN and will be retained by the stud as a future broodmare.

Her sire, Sandreo, is a stallion whose pedigree lays the foundations for the breeding of top class dressage horses. Sandreo's foals were described as beautiful types with a lot of movement and expression. Sandreo won both the final and the total stallion competition in 2005 at 's-Hertogenbosch with Hans Peter Minderhoud. Sandreo is sired by the dressage World Champion Sandro Hit who is renowned for producing uphill, pretty horses with outstanding rideability. Sandro Hit's dam, Loretta has been an excellent stallion producer; bred to Don Schufro, she produced Diamond Hit who was Reserve World Champion Five Year Old Dressage horse and Bundeschampion in 2002; bred to the Rohdiamant son, Royal Dance, she produced Royal Hit, the 1-c premium stallion of the 2002 Oldenburg stallion licensing. Sandreo's dam sire is the "keur" stallion Flemmingh who produced the Grand-Prix horses, Krack C and Lingh. Sandreo's great grand sire is the preferent stallion "Ahorn".

Champagne Supernova's dam is With Love who is sired by the Westphalien stallion Freestyle (Florestan) who was awarded a 10 and a 9 for character and temperament in his 100 day performance test at Prussendorf in 1999, his ride ability score was 9.33 and he went on to become the undisputed winner of the test. Freestyle's dam, Paloma, is a State Premium mare, who has produced two graded sons, Freestyle and Flamengold. She is currently the best mare that Hessen has and with her full sisters (all high scoring mares in their mare test), have won the title of "Segerfamilie" for 4 years and have 4 State Premium mares in succession. With Love's dam sire is Jester (Wolfgang). Freestyle is sired by Florestan, who was champion of the 1988 Rhineland approval and the champion of his performance test in Warendorf in 1989. Florestan's offspring include Fidermark, the 4yo champion at the Bundeschampionate; French Kiss who won the World Young Dressage Horse championship for 6 year olds and Florencio - twice World Champion Young Dressage Horse.

Champagne Supernova had a georgeous black colt foal by Hotline in 2011 with a fabulous temperament so we have repeated this breeding in 2012.  In 2013 she had a chestnut filly Ilya who is by Furst Romancier.

Champagne Supernova has another super foal by Furst Romancier in 2014.
